Operation Get me to that Beachbody Coach Summit!

Beachbody’s Coach Summit is being held in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this year (June 21-24) and I’ll have the opportunity to meet Shaun T (Insanity) and Tony Horton (P90X), face to face. I’ve got the room situation covered, all I need to do is get there. Which unfortunately is my biggest hurdle, due to my college-student financial situation. :/

I’ve got about a week to try and raise enough money to really try and get myself to that coach’s summit.

Here are some of my options:

  • I’ve still got a full (unopened) 30 serving bag of Chocolate Shakeology for sale: $100 (+shipping) which is still a better deal than purchasing ithere ($120 with home direct, a little more if not).
  • I’ve also got a full (unopened) 30 serving bag of Tropical Strawberry Shakeology (vegan) for sale: $110 (+shipping) 
     
  • Or you can order Challenge Packs (here: go to SHOP>left column Challenge Packs> and it lists the different combinations of workouts with Shakeology) under my name which will sign you up under me and I’ll be your coach to help you through it and help guide to accomplish your goals 
  • If you’ve been holding off on finally purchasing Shakeology, now would be a great time to start! Not only for yourself, but it will also help me out! You can finally place your order here :)
  • I also still do have my accessories website (with just a limited selection) and you can go to that by clicking here, or if you have something else in mind, you can always email me for custom requests!
  • I’ll even go as far as even selling my clothes?!?! (I actually really am, at the consignment shops, lol)

If you know me at all, you know how passionate I am about healthy living and exercising. As well as that this is very uncharacteristic of me to even show financial need, so openly. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Shakeology and Insanity—Beachbody themselves, I would not be at the free and confident state of mind that I have been in, especially the last couple of months. The Coach Summit will provide me with so much more insight, directly from the creators themselves, of all the wonderful programs and supplements that have helped changed lives and got people moving in the right direction. Which can only allow me to become a better coach to everyone who looks to me for advice. This will not only mean a lot to me, but could really make a significant impact.

Call me cheesy, call me desperate, call me passionate, I NEED to get to that Coach Summit!!! Ahhhh!!! <3

So, I’m getting real tumblrsavvy here and decided to finally start using my other blog for a more specific theme, vs just having this one for ALL of my interests.

It’s more or less a health-based blog, and I’ll start updating food/health relevant stuff from there instead, so if thats your main interest in my blog, then you can just follow that one instead and you won’t have to deal with everything else I post that isn’t food/health related!! Also, if you are looking for advice or motivation, start directing your questions here instead, I’ll get them just as fast, so don’t you fret! :)

Hey! How do you stay so motivated? I'm trying to lose weight in time for summer and I did p90x and ate really good for like a week and then i lost motivation... How do you keep yourself going for so long?

The most important thing (that I’ve kept telling myself) is to get, be, and stay EXCITED about working out. It may sound silly, but the more you actively tell yourself that you are looking forward to the workout, eventually you kind of just start naturally feeling that way on your own. Also the more you associate it with things in a positive context, the more you’ll want to stick to it, vs being pessimistic about having to work out. Feeling forced, conscious or subconsciously, is the fastest way to lose interest in something. Its human nature to go against something you feel like you haaaave to do..haha. So go with the flow..

Also, it typically takes about 1.5 - 2 weeks to see or feel any real results (past the soreness)..and by then, well.. you had already invested that time in it, so why stop there? The first week or so is indeed THE HARDEST part of any workout, so once you pass that conditioning state, then you can really start reaping the benefits of the workout from there.

Another thing is I took the ever-necessary “before” picture, and every week (mine are Tuesdays) I take a new one in the same spot, so that (as you can see) I can put them side by side and see my progress..which is another key motivational thing for me. and I know that I can only get better from there if I stick to it, and I’m really curious to see myself in peak condition (which is something I’ve never experienced before).

Lastly, in terms of eating well, I am a nutrition enthusiast and have been watching a lot of documentaries and reading up on foods. (The last thing being the first 40 minutes of FOODMATTERS..) By learning so much about proper nutrition, I can then feel confident that I have all the necessary tools to keep going (without feeling fatigued).
